Bitcoin for beginners.

If you’re new and wondering what Bitcoin is, this is an easy-to-understand video about how it works.

Welcome to the magic of internet money…

2️⃣And another one by The Guardian.

3️⃣Here is the official Bitcoin white paper which explains in more detail what it is and how it works.

4️⃣I would only recommend looking into these 5 exchanges… 1. 2. (Code 'REL133..) 3. 4. (blockchain bank) 5. 6.

Also look into getting a @revolutapp account so if you live outside the E.U you can send EUR.#bitcoin #bitcoin

5️⃣If you decide to get a Nuri account: You can sign up here.

6️⃣You can get a free Revolut account here: This will make it easier to send money from outside the EU to Nuri (a German bank) or #US, countries within the E.U and EEA like #Switzerland, #Norway and #Iceland as well as many others.

7️⃣I highly urge you to get a hardware wallet as well and withdraw frequently and keep your keys safe using CryptoSteel and…

  1. BitBox.
  2. Trezor.
  3. Ledger.
  4. Open Dime.

Remember the age-old saying?

8️⃣Avoid anyone saying you can get X amount of bitcoin if you send Y amount of bitcoin. If it wasn’t obvious, it’s a scam. Usually in the top reply’s of an exchange's tweet or CEO of that exchange. Also watch out for shitcoin-shills which usually include altcoins like BSV, BCH, TRX, XRP, SHIB as they're really just pyramid schemes and only offer high risk, high rewards.

9️⃣Increase your privacy use ProtonMail & ProtonVPN for free with Signal Messenger and Status Messenger which uses Ethereum, so you can send money P2P and message people without submitting any information like an email or phone number, mnemonic keys are generated and that's how you access your account. It's especially useful while protesting #BlackLivesMatter.

🔟 Join the Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin community on Reddit. r/bitcoin and [r/cryptocurrency]( /r/bitcoinbeginners is also a helpful subreddit.

1️⃣1️⃣ I've been using Lolli 🍭 to earn Bitcoin when I shop online. It’s awesome & I think you should check it out! Use my link, and we’ll both earn $10 in Bitcoin :

1️⃣2️⃣ Smilesbitcoin is another great service (currently in beta) that allows you to earn bitcoin for everyday stuff like walking/running/driving. Related article by @decryptmedia:

1️⃣3️⃣ Here's my referral code for sMiles: . Sign up for sMiles and earn Bitcoin for walking and watching videos.

1️⃣4️⃣ #Bitcoin is borderless which allows you to send billions worth of fiat currency to anyone, anywhere for fees that are next to nothing. @bitfinex successfully sent ₿161,500 for less than €1 in fees. Credit: (@decryptmedia)

1️⃣5️⃣ From the article: "TransferWise requires more than $3,600 in fees to transfer $1 million—the maximum allowed per transaction—and it takes three days to complete the transaction." #UseBitcoin #Bitcoin.

If bitcoin ever reaches €100 million, 1⁄100000000 would = €1.00

1️⃣6️⃣ @brave allows you to block ads, use tor and earn tokens called the @AttentionToken and rewards you for the ads you get in the browser. You can trade your #BAT for #bitcoin using @gemini.

1️⃣7️⃣ @NCSC recommends you use a decent #passwordmanager with 2FA. #CyberSecurity #infosec #privacy

1️⃣8️⃣ If you get a phishing email, you can report it to [] #cybersecurity #NCSC #InfoSec #privacy #phishing #CyberAttack.

1️⃣9️⃣If you don't know what SIM jacking is, here is an article that explains it. Which is why I recommend using a disposable SIM when signing up for new services that have a 2FA option, but it's only available for SMS not and not for using an app like @otpauth.

2️⃣0️⃣ More sources for SIM Swapping.

2️⃣1️⃣ Opinion: The problem with bitcoin is that people treat #bitcoin as an asset rather than a currency. If we stopped treating as an asset, we can use it as a currency.

2️⃣2️⃣ this is why stable coins are a good solution because you could buy a Ferrari for €120,000 for it to be €50,000 in 4 hours. DAI is a popular stable-coin.

If the Bitcoin community can't sort it, stable-coins may be the only viable option and to just trade from Bitcoin to some digital version of GBP/EUR.
