Cyber security should be taught at primary schools.
When I was at primary school, we had a computer suite with Windows XP installed the teacher would teach me and the other students in my class about I.T. from using the web browser to making a word document in preparation for the futuristic life in technology.
But what they didn’t teach was good computer hygiene such as clearing your cookies and cache after each session, a good strong password, what makes it strong and how vital it is to keep all software up-to-date, it just wasn’t a big concern or problem at the time.
But that was a long time ago and you would think there would have been some major changes to the school curriculum where at least basic knowledge of passwords and security is mandatory but it isn’t.
It’s partial for this reason as to why stuff like this happens, putting parents, teachers and children’s lives at risk.
